Michael's dream has always been to recreate the most famous jump that his hero Evel Knievel ever attempted
and will pay tribute to Evel on the 35th Anniversary of the historic event by recreating his X-2 Skycycle jump over the Snake River Canyon .
The jump rocket propulsion unit and ramp system will be similar to
the ones used by Evel Knievel.

The city of Lake Havasu Arizona is very excited about hosting this worldwide media event.
From the peninsula in Lake Havasu over the Colorado River.
His landing will be in California on Indian owned property
3 miles south of the Havasu Landing Casino.

Cockpit: 5' long with 2' by 3' cut out
5052 Grade Aluminum Body: 14 1/2' by 32" diameter
Nose Cone: 3' (foam / fiberglass combination fill)
Wings: 2' by 2'; 23 degree sweep on leading edges;

Steam Rocket will be propelled by heating water to produce steam.
4,000 pounds of thrust created will burn for 4 seconds.
Rocket will reach a height of 3,500 feet and an air speed of 350 miles per hour.
Distance covered will be slightly over 1/4 mile.
Rocket will fall to Earth aided by a kevlar ballistic chute.
Descent will take 21 seconds (if Canyon cleared) at 15 miles per hour.
Impact absorbed by 3' collapsible nose cone.

Evel Knievel items as his main attraction.
Michael hopes the Evel Knievel Collection in Canada won't be sold before
he's able to raise enough money to purchase it and one day retire.
